BIOGRAPHY

F. Sidiki was born in 1980 in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. When he was a child his family moved to Vitebsk, a Belarusian city where Marc Chagall was born and Kazimir Malevich worked. He graduated from art school, learned drawing, painting and artistic carving from famous Vitebsk artists Andrei Duhovnikov, Sergei Sotnikov and others.

His artworks have been significantly impacted by literature. Among his favorite writers are J. L. Borges, F. Dostoevsky, M. Bulgakov, R. Bradbury, etc. 

F. Sidiki likes to experiment in his artworks, by connecting the digital and traditional art, painting and graphics, as well as adding original short stories to visual images. Working at the intersection of different genres and techniques, F. Sidiki is looking for his artistic path and creates his own unique style.
