Like all kids I was fond of drawing and I would doit everywhere: on wallpapers, curtains and refrigeratoes. My elder sister was often displeased with me since I was drawing everywhere in her lectures notebooks.

I went to a special English school in Moscow and my mom hoped that I would follow in her footsteps and become an english teacher.

Yes, I did it, but lasted at Moscow linguistic university only 3 years. It was absolutely not my cup of tea. 

After the third year I made up my mind to take one year off to think it over. And at the same time I started working as a costue designer at theStudents' theater of Moscow State University. I didn't have any professional experience but I got this job quite easily as I am good at sewing, making costume designs and drawing. 

During that working year I was also attending the preparatory courses in Moscow Art Academy. I passed the enterance exams successfully and got accepted. 

First in my life I was really fond of my studies. 

I painted my first picture (an abstract landscape) in my third year at the Academy. But I really didn't realize that it was me who had done it .So I kept drawing and by the end of my University tuition I had completed about 10 paintings.

Now some of my paintings decorate officies, cafes, private houses in Canada, Boston and Ukraine.
