Giovanni Guadagnoli (Sulmona,1966) received his degree in literature and philosophy summa cum laude (Sapienza University-Rome).
His early photographic production led him to produce portraits in the style of glamour and fashion photography. 
Since 1992 he has been devoted to analyzing the very medium of photography, and thus has engaged in lengthy studio work, inquiring into perception processes and how, in turn, they are constructed into vision.
Along with his artistic pursuits, he has also been commissioned as a commercial photographer, including three advertising campaigns for the Armani brand.
