I´d like to think I see something in my subjects that others don’t. In my paintings I often disfigure the human form, most often the face. Sometimes the results are heartbreakingly beautiful, other times they are grotesque, my goal is to evoke some emotion from the viewer. Despite the fact I try to represent the world and its people and all we try to hide, I´m still just a nice, fun, happy guy. I invite you to look at my paintings and see people through my eyes, althaugh it could be disturbing at first view, perhaps the ability to see the truth about a person—and helping them see it—is the secret to happiness.
