Polina Teyrasse is a visual artist based in Clermont-Ferrand, France. 

 

Her work explores absence as a source of presence, shaping a visual philosophy where silence, light, and the invisible become manifest. 

 

Her practice combines poetic and conceptual thinking, taking the form of contemporary icons created with mixed media, found objects, and symbolic materials. 

 

She develops the method Absontia — an artistic language of inquiry grounded in Inoreality (other reality), Ino-iconography (images beyond visibility), and Inodogmas (traces of the unmanifested).
