Yica Djuric is a Yugoslavian artist but she identifies herself as an artist of the world. She is a devoted and accomplished painter. If her paintings had a defining characteristic it would be the eclectic mix of different media and applications. Her work is an example of modern painting but includes other artistic genres as well.

She was born in Yugoslavia where she finished her studies at the University of Fine Arts.
After studying she decided to travel and to explore other cultures and learn about them.
Traveling all across the world has helped her expand her knowledge which she now applies to her work. On one of her travels her journey led her to the center of eastern culture in Japan. She spent three years studying the Japanese language, calligraphy, art and culture.
Today, Yica has her own studio in the old part of Valencia where she creates her work. The studio also serves as her gallery for collectors, curious tourists, other artists and colleagues.
