My Little Dragon

Stone sculpture in the shape of a dragon.

Sculpted in limestone from Gotland, Sweden and wings made of metal.

I like my work to be playful and my inspiration for this sculpture was my childhood toys "My Little Pony" and fantasy dragon from JRR Tolkien's "Bilbo". I worked with the stone and metal to turn them from hard materials to make them appear soft and cute. The sculpture is very tactile.
