Miagui started his work in 1999 and chose crayon as his main work material. Developed different techniques in the application together with nanquin and hydrographic pens, reaching concise and genuine results.
 
Between 2006 and 2012 living in Europe, he was inspired by European Scandinavian and Latin art, where the creative process became decisive.
 
The creative process is based on the analysis of the development of Archetypes and Symbolisms.
 
Knowing the technique
 
The crayon was mentioned by Leonardo da Vinci, presented by the French artist Jean Perréal when he arrived in Milan 1499.

During the 18th century, the crayon was used for the execution of portraits by Italian and French artists such as: Jean-Baptiste Perronneau, Rosalba Carriera and Maurice Quentin de La Tour (who never painted with oils). Edgar Degas innovated the technique and used it with expressive vigor after 1885 and became his main medium.
