Connor Charlesworth is a Kelowna based emerging artist studying Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia. Painting, printmaking, and drawing are at the centre of his practice which has dealt with various themes including an ongoing investigation of the physicality of places, as well as a more recent interest in mark making and injecting psychological narrative into work.

“Work that resonates rather than produces meaning is what I can only strive for.” 

Connor was born and raised in Kelowna, and has been exposed to fine arts and culture since a young age. As a child he loved spending time in his fathers studio playing in the paint, and spending endless hours watching his father paint. A nurtured love for creating in combination with an academic foundation has aided Connor in shaping his current and developing artistic practice.
