Danielle Villicana D’Annibale nasce a San Francisco, in California, nel 1972. 
Nel 1994 si laurea in Storia dell’arte e arti visive al B.A. Occidental College di Los Angeles. 
L’amore per il Rinascimento la porta in Italia nello stesso anno, dove frequenta importanti maestri e atelier fiorentini, dallo Charles Cecil Studios alla Florence Academy, fino allo studio di Silvestro Pistolesi nel 1996. In seguito apprende la tecnica dell’affresco alla scuola di Leonetto Tintori di Prato. 
Nel 2001 si iscrive all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma dove ha per docente Costantino Baldino. Prosegue nel frattempo con le ricerche plastiche e pittoriche, virando verso l’astrazione: prende vita la serie Cigarette Box Paintings. 
Con il diploma accademico conseguito nel 2006, la statunitense si trasferisce ad Arezzo, dove può vivere a stretto contatto con l’arte di Piero della Francesca. Coadiuvata dal marito Maurizio D’Annibale, light designer, Danielle inizia a lavorare al progetto “Villa Margherita un Paradiso per Artisti in Toscana” e apre, nel 2010, una galleria d’arte contemporanea nel cuore di Arezzo, da subito luogo d’incontro privilegiato per artisti italiani e stranieri. 
Dal 1994 ha partecipato a mostre personali e collettive in Italia e Stati Uniti. Fa parte del California Art Club ed è fondatrice, assieme al marito, del “Villa Margherita International Art Club”.

Principali attività professionali:
Nel 1993 Danielle Villicana D’Annibale ha svolto il ruolo di assistente a Eugenia Butler per il progetto The Kitchen Table Project presentato ad ART/LA’93, dove erano presenti artisti del calibro di Marina Abramovic, Carolee Schneemann, Felipe Ehrenberg e altre trenta figure di livello internazionale. Dal 1998 al 2000 è stata scultrice per Treadway Industries nell’ambito dei progetti Venetian Hotel & Casino, Aladin Gaming, Universal Studios Giappone, Disney California Adventure e altri. Nel 1999 ha svolto la mansione di pittrice e decoratrice per Saltman Art per Burbank Los Angeles e Venetian Hotel & Casino. Nel 2003 è stata assistente scenografa di Francesco Frigeri, a Cinecittà, per il film The Passion of the Christ di Mel Gibson. Dal 2010 a Novembre 2013 ha curato e organizzato oltre cinquanta mostre, concerti e incontri letterari all’interno della Villicana D’Annibale Galleria D’Arte di Arezzo. Adesso Danielle è tornata al suo lavoro principale, artista, e la galleria a Via Cavour 85 è diventato uno spazio espositivo disponibile per artisti.

Danielle Villicana D’Annibale was born in San Francisco, in California, in 1972. 
In 1994 she graduated in Art History and the Visual Arts with a B.A. from Occidental College of Los Angeles. 
The love for the Renaissance took her to Italy in the same year, where she attended important masters and Florentine atelier, from Charles Cecil Studios to the Florence Academy, to the studio of Silvestro Pistolesi in 1996. Afterwards she learned the technique of fresco at the school of Leonetto Tintori of Prato. 
In 2001 she enrolled in the Accademia di Belle Arti of Rome. She continued on the meantime her plastic and pictorial research, veering towards abstraction: the series Cigarette Box Paintings took life. 
With the academic diploma obtained in 2006, the American transferred to Arezzo, where she may live in close contact with the art of Piero della Francesca.
Collaborating with her husband Maurizio D’Annibale, light designer, Danielle Villicana began working on the project Villa Margherita a Paradise for Artists in Tuscany and opened, in 2010, a contemporary art gallery in the heart of the city, immediately becoming a favored meeting place for Italian and foreign artists. 
Since 1994 she has participated in solo and group exhibits in Italy and the United States. She is a member of the California Art Club and co-founder with her husband, Maurizio D'Annibale, of the "Villa Margherita International Art Club."

Principle professional activities:
In 1993, Danielle Villicana D’Annibale conducted the role of assistant to Eugenia Butler for the project The Kitchen Table Project presented at ART/LA'93, where artists of the caliber of Marina Abramovic, Carolee Schneemann, Felipe Ehrenberg and other thirty figures of international level were present. In 1999, she conducted the task of painter and decorator for Saltman Art in Burbank Los Angeles and the Venetian Hotel & Casino. From 2010 to November, 2013, she has curated and organized over fifty exhibits, concerts and literary encounters inside the Villicana D’Annibale Galleria D’Arte of Arezzo. Danielle has now returned to being a full-time artist and the gallery at Via Cavour 85 has become an exhibition space available to artists for exhibitions.
