I am interested in the many expressions of human and animal behaviours within the setting of alternate time and space, historical, or fantasized within the constraints of my own studies and current skillset.  Creating representational artworks influenced by realism and the use of fine detail, I am a self-taught artist with a love of wielding watercolours. Armed with small brushes adorned with few hairs I will sit and paint, entranced, devoting months to each artwork. 

My works record my emotions, thoughts, and expressions as if time was woven into their very essence.  Memories of the events unique to each one flash vividly in my mind.  For this reason I find art resembles a diary.  You can express yourself but only in a way that is by its nature intended to be hidden from others. 

Raised on a farm in rural canada I took to art to find means of escape.  At age 18 I left to Nova Scotia where I would obtain my B.A. in Political Science and Philosphy.   Since graduating I have travelled whenever possible, while days blend together in pure devotion to my craft.
