We Are All One

The work features tempera paint on raw canvas. This technique can be seen as both a self study and iconic women artist celebration. I have spent several years hand dying silk and want to be able to capture certain moments of the process and freeze them on canvas. Inspired by the washes of Helen Frankenthaller and the palpable canvases of Lynn Golob Gelfman. I wanted to create a work that evoked the divine but still had an approachability.
