I am first generation born in raised in Wallingford CT. I attended Saint Michael’s College and earned a liberal arts degree in political science.

My passion for painting was the result of a boat accident in 2015. I fractured my back and injured both wrists.

A week after the accident, I began to have vivid color dreams.

Prior to this accident, I never painted, experiencing what later was diagnosed with "Acquired Savant Syndrome” by Savant Syndrome psychiatrist Dr. Darold Treffert.  There are only 300 reported cased in the world.

For the past 4 years I have made it part of my practice to travel and paint in different parts of the      world, urban, suburban and isolated locations including The Shacks in Provincetown, MA, Paris, Sao      Paul, Hamburg, Berlin, Milan and Lake Como.

The methodology to my art is a spiritual and subconscious process.

I dream the colors and painting structures first, imprinting the image in my head.

In my studio, I sit on the floor, looks at the negative space and start to pick the colors from the shelf.

I line them together on the canvas giving him a “tangible” perspective of the dream.

My paintings usually start on the floor and then navigate the canvas to the wall to complete the piece.

I sit, stand, do a yoga position as I am completely swallowed into my painting.

I am the painting, darting around the canvas, daring and pushing myself.

Then there is the mistake. “There is always at least one mistake in every painting”.

Why was that color or stroke there? The answer always comes at the completion of the work.

It was not a mistake; it was actually part of my sub conscience, a deliberate action leading to a thoughtful completion.

My paintings are collected all over the world.
