My name is HeeJung Han, aka. Pinkasam (born 1970), and I am a contemporary artist who lives and works in Seoul, Korea.

I studied at the Art Center College of Design graduating with a BA Fine Art, followed by studied MA course in Painting and Installation at Otis College of Art and Design. And then, due to professional limitations, I left the art world to work as a graphic designer of various companies.

In 2010, I returned to Korea, where I had been away for almost 20 years. However, when I returned to my homeland after 20 years, the first feelings I felt were a series of contradictions and chaos, in which everything was against my will, that is, I was unable to express myself as my complete self.

But ironically, this chaos made me pick up the brush again 5 years ago, and those experience has influenced the nature of my current work.
