Rahimov Nail was born on December 6, 1966 in the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1986 he graduated from the College of Arts in Andijan, the Uzbek SSR. He worked in an art workshop. After his service in the army, he lived in Ulyanovsk, then in Ukraine. He was engaged in the restoration of icons, painting. Nowadays his paintings can be seen in private collections in France, Holland, Poland, Israel, Italy, Germany and the USA. He also was engaged in the art production of advertising, metalsmithing. Since 2004, he lives in Samara and works with art orders. He masters the technique of glass painting, marguetry. Nail performs oil paintings, as well as interior painting. He performs gypsum and wood carvings. Makes bas-reliefs. Since April 2012, he is a member of Samara Regional Public Organization "Creative Union of Artists of Russia." He is a member of many exhibitions held by the Creative Union. In his work, Nail pays particular attention to landscapes. A particular part among the artist’s works is assign to canvases dedicated to the great and beloved Volga River, on the banks of which he often goes for an open air painting. In July 2017, N.F. Rakimov became the nominee of the X prize of the Republican competition for the prize of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Baki Urmanche in the field of fine, decorative and applied arts and art history. At the end of 2017, the paintings “Volga Great Spaces” and “Sultry July in Bolgar” were acquired by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Fund of the Bolgar State Historical and Architectural Museum and Reserve. In November 2018, a personal exhibition of paintings “Volga Voyage” was held in the shopping center “Europe”, the gallery “Butterfly”, where 21 paintings by the artist were presented to the public. In October 2019, the painting “Ravine. Small glades” was acquired by the State Budgetary Institution of Culture Samara Regional Local History Museum named after P.V. Alabin"
