I am Zubaida from Kurdistan region of Iraq. I study Journalism as major and English transilation at the American University of Iraq Sulaimani. I published two articles about LGBTQ facing "honor killings" in Iraq, and the other one is about LGBTQ keeping their sexual lives underground in Iraq. I published them on NRT English and Newsscoop websites. In July 2019, I been accepted by Future News Worldwide prgram as the only Iraqi Kurd to represent my country in UK. In Oct 2019, I been accepted by 3rd International Youth Summit Labor, 2019, and I am working on the visa process now. Soon, I will publish my first transilation project for one of the Syrian authors. I make oil painting pictures and also black and white ones. I am a violnest. Now, I am working on to present my work in a gallary. I am so exited to part of YACA and to share my art work with them.
