No 10 from the series "Unexpected Presence"

In my latest series 'Unexpected Presence' I delve into the biology of plants.

I look for substantive threads in my paintings regarding interspecies unity, taking into account the rarely mentioned context of common genealogy. For me, it is a careful look at the world - restoring the subjectivity of plants, deprived of them by culture and the scientific approach - which tries to combine the scientific perspective with the attitude of direct, non-intellectual reception of reality, in order to find a language that will best express nature and create an unrestricted space for the free flow of thoughts and meanings.
