Firewood

   Discarded timber can be found everywhere on this planet. Worthless and often left to be scrap. Saw marks, nail puncture, cement stains, odd shapes, tell us the history of each piece that have been used for building construction, giving us a hint to its original purpose that humans have put upon it.
     The uniqueness of these discarded wood have been the inspiration behind the concept for this garden sculpture that can also be used as a seat.  
       By using hand tools to carefully modify the timbers, the existing forms, textures, and colours can be maintained.
       A metal structure is designed to hold and guide the direction of each individual pieces of timber.
       The surface of the wood is therefore exposed to exhibit the natural beauty of each piece in various heights.

          มีหลายแห่งในโลกนี้ มีท่อนไม้เหลือทิ้งเป็นซา ก ไม่มีค่า ไร้ราคา มีบาดแผลจากรอยฟันเลื่อย รอยตะปู คราบปูน รูปทรงที่บิดเบี้ยว อันเหลือมาจากงานก่อสร้างอาคารบ้านเรือน    
            ข้าพเจ้ามองเห็นซากท่อนไม้เหล่านี้มีบุคลิดเฉพาะตัว เฉพาะท่อนที่ไม่ซ้ำกัน จึงได้คิดออกแบบโครงสร้างเหล็กที่มีลักษณะเป็นเบ้าสวมกำหนดทิศทางบังคับ ไม้แต่ละท่อนที่สวมลงไป  มีการเปิดผิวไม้ให้เห็นความสวย และตัดแต่งด้วยเครื่องมือhand tool เพื่อให้เกิดพื้นผิวที่ดูธรรมชาติ ให้แต่ละท่อนที่สวมลงไป แสดงความงามของตนเรียงกันสูงต่ำในแต่ละแท่งได้ชัดเจนและทำหน้าที่เป็นที่พิงหลังได้ เป็นเก้าอี้พักผ่อนในรูปแบบของ Garden Sculpture
