Art allows me to walk through it.

Christiane Santiago Contreiras – Chris Contreiras, was born in Brasilia, in October 31st 1965.

A Clinical Psychologist, treats art and psychology as parts of the same theme, the contact with herself.

Chris Contreiras has always been in contact with painting.

Her first painting was painted as a child with her mother, who also used to paint.

Started teaching, during which time worked at art with children.

Later, saw herself once again surrounded by art, when she discovered the psychology projective tests, the language of colors, traces and shapes, that can expose secrets and obviousness.

Ten years ago, had her first exposition, with paintings with characteristics that, well defined, belonged to another phase, quite different from the current one, though with a constant theme, the feminine.
