I am Mariam Khorsroshvili, a contemporary Georgian artist, but at this point I am trying to start a new life in Italy. I work with paints, pencils, ink and digital media. My main direction has developed over the years in surrealism.

I was born in 1996 in Georgia, in 2015 I started studying at the Tbilisi Academy of Arts in the field of media art and in 2023 I defended my master's thesis in the same specialty. My source of inspiration is everything around me, what I see and feel, it becomes a source of my imagination. All this makes me constantly develop and try to convey forms in my works from different perspectives. I try to perceive the working space as much as possible and then even break it. I do not adhere to the symmetry of the template, but I do not fundamentally change it either. I love experiments, mixing several materials at the same time and synthesizing texture and form. My works are mostly done by hand, and I often feel as if I can't quite figure out where the painting is going. Each one is similar to the next, but has a completely different character, embodying chaos and peace at the same time.
