NOME L’aura
COGNOME Isaia
Ho studiato prima Lettere e poi Filosofia. Dopo Lettere e Filosofia insieme.

NAME: Laura COGNOME Isaia DATE there was the sun of June in the year 1977, but it was night. I remember it very well!
WHEN: my parents persist telling me I was born in Sicily and I’m starting to believe the mas every time I go back in those places I fell to be born again (or to die). According to my approximate considerations I was born in Mars.
I studied first Literature and then Philosophy. Then Literature and Philosophy together. Kant has always been proud of me, Hegel is still giving a hard time, Sartre has never loved me but he doesn’t know it and I have never been a “Dutiful Daughter”.
Photography for me is neither a profession nor a noble hobby but a necessity of my DNA genetically transmitted by my grandfather. But he is dead for long and he doesn’t know. My first camera was made in wood and a bottom-bottle for lens! So my first pictures came out all drunk…drunk with life…and some stomach ache.
Then the film: never less then two shoots in one. Today is digital: it is like offering sangria to a teetotal and covertly watch the effect.
