INSIGHT is a self-portrait embodying the moment of the birth of an idea that became the internal support and basis for the Carpe Diem fragrance jewelry collection. It is a story about how a thought gains weight, aroma, and form — and becomes a living energy that is conveyed to others without words.

 

At the core of the sculpture is a unique material made from rare white clay, which is no longer mined. This material connects people: it retains the trace of the earth and unites through tactile and emotional memory.

 

The head of the sculpture opens, allowing the viewer to look inside — it's an interactive piece where meaning is revealed only through interaction. To understand the idea, one must approach, open the head, and then sense the aroma. This erases the usual barrier between art and the individual — the viewer becomes a participant, explorer, and witness to the moment of revelation.

 

Inside, there are aroma drops made from custom ceramics: the dark ones embody the chaos of thoughts, and one white drop represents that very insight, the moment of inner light.

 

INSIGHT engages three senses simultaneously — sight, touch, and smell. It is not just a form but a multi-layered experience where the aroma becomes part of the space, the surface an extension of thought, and the viewer a part of the artwork.

 

The work was handcrafted over several years — from clay modeling to plaster casting and final processing. During this time, the sculpture "grew" alongside its idea, becoming a symbol of how the scientific and the sensory can merge into a single object.

 

The central theme of my work is the value of the moment and internal transformations. INSIGHT embodies this state: when inspiration is born within and begins to resonate in the world — first quietly, and then perceptibly with all senses.
