Artur Bartkiewicz (born in 1980)

He studied at the Institute of Fine Arts of Swietokrzyska Academy in Kielce. He got his Diploma with honors of the painting from the studio of Professor Ewa Pelka in 2005. From 2005-2009 worked with the Institute of Fine Arts at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce as a lecturer in painting and drawing studios. Creatively involved in painting, drawing, photography and multimedia activities. Participated in over thirty fife group exhibitions (on the international, national and local levels) and few individual ones. Participated in many international and national plein airs and symposiums.

In 2006 winner of Distinction in VIII Autumn International Art Salon (BWA Ostrowiec Gallery), 2009 - winner of the Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski President’s Prize for achievements in art, 2009 – Nomination in “Porówniania 17/Comparision 17” (BWA Sandomierz Gallery), 2010 - winner of the Kielce President’s Prize for painting diptych in “Przedwiośnie 33/”Early spring 33”(BWA Kielce Gallery); Nomination to the prize in the 23^rd Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting (Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle, Szczecin 2010).

Co-founder of the “Out of Context Creative Associacion” which organizes artistic activities. Co-organizer and curator of the International Painting Plein Air in at Karczowka, Poland. His works are in ownership of the state galleries and private collections in Poland and abroad. Since 2006 works as an art curator in Bureau of Art Exhibition in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski.
