Kian was born and raised in Hong Kong and currently lives in Chicago. She is an international student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago studying BFA, which she is attending with a full scholarship from The Wharf (Holdings) Limited in Hong Kong. She has won over 20 art competitions at the national or international levels.
