Artista sensibile e di grande temperamento, ha frequentato corsi di arte sia in Italia sia all’estero.  I suoi colori sono morbidi e nei suoi quadri si respira un’atmosfera sfumata.  Ha partecipato a molte mostre collettive d’importanza nazionale tra cui Premio Pittura “ Carlo dalla Zorza” e “Movimento delle Segrete di Bocca” a Milano, “Sinergie artistiche” presso Sinergy Art Studio a Roma, ” Mentelibera” e “MusicART” presso Galleria Hesperia a Roma, “Sole donne”, “La seduzione del male “ e “XXL I grandi formati” presso la Galleria d’arte Saman – Roma, “Art rock, i miti del rock” e “Donne in rinascita” presso la Passepartout Unconventional Gallery di Milano. Mostre personali a Palazzo Prinetti – Merate e presso Associazione Viacavoursettantasei a Vimercate. Ha partecipato al Premio d’Arte Città di Novara, dove il lavoro “Luce e ombra” è stato fra i finalisti, e alla Biennale di Brescia 2013. E’  socio fondatore, insieme ad altri 20  artisti, dell’Associazione artistico-culturale Arteeventi, con sede a Merate, Lecco.

"Nel dipingere seguo l’istinto, guidata di volta in volta da calma, eccitazione, gioia, rabbia. Sono convinta che l'arte figurativa e l'arte informale possano integrarsi, invece che confrontarsi. Le mie visioni percorrono quella sottile via che, nella pittura, fa coesistere realtà e immaginazione. Lo spunto  è  spesso la natura che scompongo e ricompongo come un mosaico, evidenziando gli aspetti che mi emozionano e rappresentandoli in una nuova veste: forte e vivace, oppure morbida e sfumata, in un contrasto che è per me la vita stessa. Nel ritratto mi piace cogliere, più che i lineamenti, l’essenza di una personalità, e per questo cerco sempre di sapere il più possibile della persona che ritraggo.

Solo exhibitions at Palazzo Prinetti - Merate and Associazione Viacavoursettantasei Vimercate. She participated in the Art Award City of Novara, where the work "Light and Shadow" was among the finalists, and the Biennale di Brescia 2013. Laura is a founding member of the cultural Association Arteeventi, based in Merate, Lecco.

"In painting I follow instinct, driven in turn by calm, excitement, joy, anger. I' m convinced that figurative art and  informal art can complement, rather than confront.

My vision extends to the narrow path, in the art of painting that makes reality and imagination co-exist and harmonize together. My inspiration is often nature, a theme that in the act of painting I compose and decompose like working on a mosaic, while at the same time, I enhance the details that allow my emotions to emerge. When my emotions are able to surface I can then represent the aspect that mostly catch my attention, giving them new life. The aspects and details that stimulate my emotions are represented through strong and vibrant, or soft and undefined colors in a contrast that in my opinion is the meaning of life itself.

When I work on a portrait, I like to capture the essence of the character's personality prior to drawing his or her features. For this reason I always try to get to know as much as I can about the personality and the life of the person that I would like to portray”.
