Abstract Painter and Digital Artist, Scarlett is an emerging artist looking to challenge our notions of color, form, and societal systems. She’s currently fuming that an organization that claims to be in support of the arts would force non-binary artists a) to even select a gender, as really you’d think your focus would be on the work not the person and b) to have to select only from the gender binary, as if the entire movement to expand our view on gender wasn’t 90% carried by the very artists they claim to be in support of (way to drop the ball, YICCA)
