Dafne & Chloe

“Dafne & Chloe” is a symbolic exploration of identity, memory and the duality of human consciousness. The composition juxtaposes two feminine presences - one organic and emotional, the other mechanical and introspective - creating a visual dialogue between instinct and intellect, fragility and transformation, past and future.

Interwoven mechanical structures and clock-like elements evoke the passage of time and the mechanisms of memory, while the fragmented female figures emerge as metaphors for psychological complexity and emotional evolution. Rather than illustrating a narrative literally, the painting constructs a metaphysical space where human emotion encounters the inevitability of change and the instability of contemporary existence.

The restrained palette of dark tones, gold and pale whites creates an atmosphere of introspection and silent tension. Subtle red accents introduce emotional intensity, suggesting traces of vulnerability, inner conflict and transformation. Through layered textures and symbolic figuration, the work becomes a meditation on perception, consciousness and the hidden architecture of human experience.
