Save me (from the series Scream for Me)
Save me belongs to my ongoing series Scream for Me, a body of work that confronts the quiet, invisible terror carried by ordinary people living through war. These portraits are not depictions of heroes or decision-makers, but of those who have no power to prevent destruction—those who can only witness, endure, and carry its weight in their bodies.
In these works, the figures appear distorted, raw, almost dissolving into the surrounding space. Their forms are shaped by urgency and thick gestures of paint, echoing the instability of a world where identity, safety, and humanity can be stripped away in an instant.
