In this work, I have created a surreal, semi-abstract scene using oil and gilding. It depicts whooper swans and their movements, and the sea in its flux. The focus is on a swan singing its last song. The painting explores our perception, what we want and are able to see, and what remains hidden from us. It reflects the flowing dynamism and, at the same time, the harmony of nature. The waves and the shimmering gold create an atmosphere of tranquility, contemplation, and even melancholy, filling any space with a mysterious, vibrant energy and inviting the viewer to reflect.
