What Remains

What Remains

What remains of us when the body is reduced to blood, bones, water and matter?

This work explores the threshold between the physical body and that which resists visibility and definition. Fragmented forms, traces and bursts of colour suggest an inner landscape - not as anatomy, but as a space of memory, consciousness, vulnerability and presence.

The painting does not attempt to define what lies beyond the material body. Instead, it remains with the question: Is there something within us that cannot be measured, dissected or fully understood?

Perhaps what defines us most is precisely what remains invisible.

Acrylic on watercolour paper, framed 33x33 cm.
