Großglockner im Alpenglühen

The mountain shown on the painting is the highest mountain of Austria, the "Großglockner". I oriented on a photo taken at sunset and painted it on a wooden surface. What makes my art unique is that I realise my artwork completely free without a projector and still try to do the mountains as realistic as possible.

Due to the coronavirus crisis, I’ve learned to appreciate and perceive nature even more strongly. This passion often provides me with inspiration for new works in the form of mountains photos. If I’ve alrealy painted a mountain, I see in in a completely different light when observing in reality. I become more conscious of the shading and discover colors that one wouldn’t often expect to find in nature.
