„Zanikanie”

Pamięć, która przechowuje i porządkuje ludzkie wspomnienia i myśli, przypomina wieloczęściową, efemeryczną układankę. Każdy jej kawałek tworzy naszą osobistą historię, która decyduje o tym, kim byliśmy, kim jesteśmy i kim się stajemy. Co dzieje się z osobą, gdy usunie się chociażby jeden element układanki? Człowiek cierpiący na zaburzenia neuropoznawcze doświadcza powolnego zaniku swojej tożsamości. Prezentowana praca to próba nadania artstycznego wyrazu procesowi zanikania pamięci oraz stworzenia przestrzeni do dyskusji na temat konsekwencji tego zaniku.

„Disappearing”

Memory, which stores and organizes human memories and thoughts, resembles a multi-part, ephemeral puzzle. Each piece of it creates our personal story that determines who we were, who we are and who we are becoming. What happens to a person when even one piece of the puzzle is removed? A person suffering from neurocognitive disorders experiences a slow loss of their identity. The presented work is an attempt to give an artistic expression to the process of the disappearance of memory and to create a space for discussion on the consequences of this disappearance.
