Cloths with heartstrings and remembrance

I used not only my own senses but also morpho-psychology and color psychology to create a graphic representation of the feelings and sensations of others that I came in contact with while conducting research such as questionnaires. Through this production process, I came to the conclusion that "the more unified and concise the expression, the easier it becomes, and the process is not a matter of refinement, but of wasting the process, including the research. The expression that embodies the lack of refinement and formality is called "expression of memory," which I applied to the panels of clothing in this project. Lightness, darkness, beauty, dirtiness, freshness, dullness." When I experience things, I sometimes associate them with the clothes I am wearing and remember them. When I asked many people in town, it was quite interesting to see how many of them had clothing that held memories for them. I asked them to draw those memories, produced graphics, and made a book of them. The expression of the body of work was born out of this process. Nowadays, the confusion of speculation and fact has increased the amount of time we are driven away and unable to focus on enjoyment and pleasure, not knowing what to believe and doubt. Living in a world where clothes and memories are tied together may possibly be the key to remembering small pleasures and joys.
