Alexej Sachov was born in 1972 in Charkov, Soviet Union. He was inspired by photographs taken by his mother. Alexej is taking photos from his childhood. He won an own camera in the school.  But his real passion was the sky: he was building of combustion engines for his aircraft models in the juvenility and even obtained a diploma with honors in engineering & information technologies applied to design of rocket missiles. Alexej realized his creativity potential in building of complex computer systems in the Ukraine, Russia, and Germany.

Alexej is a passioned diver, the challenges of the underwater photography attracted Alexej. After relocation from Germany to Ukraine, Alexej joined Kiev school of photography where deals with courses and workshops.

Alexej joined photography competitions in 2020. His underwater photos were honored by diverse competitions and were exhibited in the US, UK and in Ukraine, where Alexej lives currently.
