Art has been a passion since childhood; in 1996, she started experimenting as an artist with different techniques
and materials. Horses, yoga and photography are a constant motivation in her life.

She began her artistic career copying works of great artists such as Rufino Tamayo, Diego Rivera, Saturnino
Herrán, amongst others.

Claudia has a B.F.A. in Textile Design, graduated magna cum laude from Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico
City.

As an emerging, young artist, she has investigated, examined and merged the tools she has so far acquired
with interdisciplinary studies, in order to create a new perspective.

Her artwork is currently defined by three-dimensional textures made throughout the intervention of textiles and
other materials. Projecting, through organic and abstract reliefs, the multiplicity of the universe. Representing a
reality that depends on the context in which each piece is located; making it relative to each subject whom interacts
with it.

As a designer, she works with Mexican fine art-crafts. The end is to transmit, in each unique piece, the job
complexity so its value may be recognized worldwide. Add design and functionality to fine Mexican textile crafts
to generate impact from an innovative and creative viewpoint, thus encouraging craftsmanship.

In the end, this is a proposal where art and design merge and complement each other. Every design is transported
to the world of art and every work of art to the world of design. Where they both play an aesthetic, harmonic
and functional role representing in a very a particular way, the universe itself.

Her artwork is being represented by mexican galleries such as Lasheras+Elliot, La Catrina de Alcalá, Atelier et
Galerie d’Audiffred. And also by international galleries such as Studio 26, New York City.
Solo exhibitions such as “Acercamiento” in Valle de Bravo, 2012, “From design to art & the other way
around” in Mexico City, 2013.
