Hannah Waddell was born and raised in a small town outside of St. Louis, Mo.  She transferred to the University of Arkansas to finish her undergraduate degree after attending St. Louis Community College.  Hannah traveled to Rome, Italy in the summer of 2013 to study bookmaking and Italian Renaissance art history with the help of a study abroad scholarship.  In December of the same year, she graduated with a Bachelors of Studio Art and is currently searching for an artistic career in the St. Louis area.  Hannah’s has great interest in many mediums, but is currently exploring monotypes and working with various landscape images.  More specifically, she is interested in simplifying and abstracting a complicated environment.
