illi Jung Piccato is a South Korean visual artist and photographer based in Brazil. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT, SUNY), she spent ten years directing visual merchandising for Celine and Givenchy in Korea before reorienting her practice toward an "ethic of care"—shifting focus from high-fashion curation to environmental and spatial observation. Informed by a cross-cultural trajectory across North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, Piccato utilizes photography, expanded digital media, and installation to examine human interaction with natural and urban environments. By deconstructing and reconstructing visual elements—from beach architectures to animated landscapes—she reveals underlying visual languages and fleeting territories of shelter, memory, and nature.
