Irene Pedras (Barcelos, 1995) is an artist from Barcelos, with a degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.
Her paintings explore personal and interpersonal reflection, through emotions that are symbolically represented as characters that interact with each other and create a narrative.
Thematically and conceptually, it analyzes and questions individual human emotion, embedded in a society that conditions it. The vision of reality is expressed through the use of a wide palette, gestures, and composition.
