Maria Saggese was born in 1992. She is a young artist, photographer and light painter based in Salerno (Italy), graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where she is currently studying "Art photography". With her photography she describes her art and her way to express herself and reality, giving them a new perspective. With her photographs she explores the world and goes beyond the appearance. The darkness is the canvas and the light is her paintbrush. She is part and local representative of LPWA (Light Painting World Alliance). She takes part with her artwork at 3rd Light Painting World Exhibition 2014 in Oviedo (Spain) and she was present at  4th Light Painting World Exhibition in Paris at UNESCO headquarters for the opening of the International Year of Light 2015 (19-20th January 2015).
