Martin Romeo is a visual and multimedia artist. Born in Carrara (Italy) in 1986, he then moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina for a few years and came back to Italy in 1999.  He attended the Institute of Art E.U. Nordio in Trieste. He is currently studying for his master degree in Planning and Production of Visual Arts at Iuav University in Venice. He takes part to several festivals in Italy and abroad, like the Kernel Festival in Milan and Media Mediterranea 14 in Croatia. His works have been exhibited at Civic Modern Art Museum Revoltella in Trieste, in Slovenia in the city of Maribor, European capital of culture 2012 and also at some prestigious biennials like the 54th International Art Exhibition in Venice, within the Italian pavilion in Porto Vecchio, Trieste, and at the 15th Biennale dei Giovani Artisti dell’Europa e del Mediterraneo in Thessaloniki, Greece. Artistic director of the Toolkit Festival (Venice, 2011-2012), at its second edition this year, he managed to create an important meeting point for interactive art in Italy.
