MICHIKO KIMURA 木村道子 is a Japanese painter from Miyazaki prefecture (Kyushu), Japan. She lives in San Gimignano (Italy) since April 2018. Since 2017, she has been living in Italy on a scholarship as a recipient of the Miyazaki Prefecture Best Artist Award. She works with traditional Japanese materials such as Japanese paper Washi "和紙" and European painting techniques such as egg tempera and doratura(gold decoration technique).
