Hi , I am basically from Kolkata but right now  i am pursuing my final year IPGD in photojournalism from NICC , Bangalore . I started photography in November,2011 while i was pursuing my graduation from Kolkata. Basically photography was taken up by me as a hobby , a way to keep myself happy and busy.Once i started photographing subjects around me , somehow i could communicate to myself when i used to view the photographs later.A kind of space I could feel around myself.I had previously done workshop of Mr.Arindam Mukherjee , photojournalist from Kolkata and i was under continuos guidance of Mr.Dipanjan Mitra , photographer from Kolkata.I started professionally from mid of  2012 , i started off shooting musical gigs of bands from and outside Kolkata.I worked from Kolkata as a photographer for Whats The Scene , Bangalore, India , a muscial organization promoting musical scenario across India.I also worked for around eight months in Kolkata for LIVE in CONCERTS , promoted by Bickram Ghosh and Siddha Group. My works have published in Books & More Magazine ,Bangalore and Happy Camera Club Exhibition.

But i always personally wanted to have a orginal Body of Work of my own.Photojournalism has been always the territory for me. I love photographing shadows and reflections , it brings back a lot of emotions later for me.After this IPGD Certificate i would like to work as a freelance photojournalist , along with my personal projects.

Hopely i wish YICCA will take me on a higher ground in photogrpahy.
