I was born in 1966 in a small village in the Ural Mountains in a Ukrainian family of a soldier and a seamstress. The family returned to Ukraine in 1972 where we have lived ever since.

In 1992 I got my bachelor degree in biology at National City University, Dnipro. In 1999 I completed my PhD.

In 2004 I received my second BA in psychology at Sevastopol City University.

Between 1996-2018 I worked as a lecturer at university teaching physiology and psychology.

From 2006 I started working as a consulting psychologist and from 2008 onwards I started introducing elements of art therapy in my sessions.

In 2009 took part in the art exhibition “Sophia” hosted in the Nizhny Novgorod art museum.

In 2011 I had my debut solo exhibition in Dnipro, Ukraine, where I presented my early graphics and watercolours.

Most of my recent paintings are done in oil on canvas. My first collection of 335 paintings reflects on the emotional journey of living through the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine and my frequent trips to Europe.
