Ahnaf Noor Tahmid, born on 17 August 2016 and raised in Sylhet, Bangladesh, is the younger brother of photographer Oviul Maruf. Currently a student of Class 3 at Jalalabad Cantonment Public School and College, Ahnaf has become widely recognized after being featured as the central subject in Maruf’s latest portrait photography project, Through Tahmid’s Eyes.
Known for his innocent expressions, curious nature, and natural comfort in front of the camera, Ahnaf became the perfect muse for his brother’s artistic vision. His debut in this project has not only introduced him to the photography world but also immortalized his personality in timeless frames.
Oviul Maruf, a Bangladeshi photographer celebrated for his nature and abstract works—including the acclaimed River View album—has now stepped into portrait photography with Through Tahmid’s Eyes. His ability to capture raw emotions and everyday beauty is evident in the way he has portrayed Ahnaf, blending personal connection with professional artistry. Together, the brothers have created a body of work that celebrates family bonds, childhood wonder, and visual storytelling.
