AlesSandra Rizzo nasce a Milano nel 1954 ed inizia fin da giovane ad interessarsi all'argilla. Dopo il liceo artistico frequenta vari stage e corsi che vanno dalla conoscenza dell'argilla allo studio delle vetrate a
piombo, dalla creazione di monili all'approfondimento di materiali naturali quali il legno, le pietre e minerali. Alla ricerca del vero artigiano ceramista, scopre il maestro Piero Cantatore che diventerà suo insegnante ed in seguito amico. Lo studio sui simboli primordiali e la curiosità per il lavoro ceramico di altri popoli, la portano all'antica tecnica Cinese RAKU, alla quale si dedicherà completamente. Vive ed insegna nel suo laboratorio in Brianza, Lombardia, Italia.

Alessandra Rizzo was born in Milan, Italy, in 1954 and start from a young age to be interested clay. After art school he attended various internships and courses ranging from knowledge of the clay to the study of stained glass, from the creation of jewelry deepening of natural materials such as wood, stone and minerals. In search of the true craftsman potter, he discovers the master Piero Cantatore who became his teacher and later a friend. RAKU, which will focus completely. He lives and teaches in his laboratory in Brianza, Lombardy, Italy.
