My name is Mohadese Movahed and I am from Iran. I have lived my whole life in Iran until I decided to go to Canada in order to continue my education in MFA program at the University of Regina, Canada. I have studied Graphic design at Azadegan art school and pursued my education in Bachelor of Fine Art program at the university of Science and Culture in Tehran, Iran. During my study years in university, I wasn’t quite satisfied with the academic knowledge of the university, thus, I decided to spend four years in a private classes of Mehrdad Khataei who is an internationally renowned Iranian artist. I have participated in several group exhibitions and Art biennials in Iran and Canada. I had a solo show at Sohrab art gallery in Tehran which I exhibited around 70 drawings and paintings.

Since the development of technology and widespread use of social media have caused a substantial changes in all different artistic fields, I decided to learn digital painting in the school of CG and digital art INVERS school in Tehran which the collection of world literature illustrations including short stories of Edgar Allan Poe was one of its achievements. Currently, I am studying MFA (Master of Fine Art) in university of Regina, SK, Canada.
